We stayed in Gite le Cerf. Stunning place, reasonable price, well equipped kitchen, balcony on the front of the cabin with table and benches is just about one of the nicest places you could sit for a meal, or a drink in the evening and play games or just sit and watch the horses if the cone down to the pond. The hosts were friendly. There is a 300 deposit to pay by cash or cheque when you arrive, but if you look after things and leave the cabin clean and tidy you get it straight back before you leave with no problem. Bed linen is included in the cost and you can pay for towels too if you need them. You'll need to take your own toiletries, loo roll etc. There was washing up liquid, kitchen towel etc but if you're staying more than a couple of days you may need to take a couple of bin bags, and basic kitchen sundries. Also there is no electric socket that we could find in the bedroom but we always have a 5m extension just incase so we could run it from the living room. My only slight personal negative was that I found the bed quite hard/uncomfy but that's a personal thing. The ranch is way out in the countryside and VERY peaceful. If you were writing a book or just needed time for peace and quiet, I can't think of anywhere more ideal than sitting at that table on the balcony. Not too far from Limoges and practical for visiting Oradour-sur-Glane. A couple of decent small supermarkets within about 10 minute drive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Cadres très agréable et chalet entièrement en bois atypique. C'est propre et bien entretenu, mais l'acoustique n'est pas extraordinaire. On peut discuter sans être dans la même pièce et porte fermé.
Les responsables du ranch devaient faire le transport de mon cheval. Ils sont venus tous les 2 avec le van. J'avais bien prévenue que mon cheval ne montait pas bien et ils m'avaient assurés savoir comment s'y prendre. Au bout d'un moment (le cheval n'étant toujours pas monté), le responsable est parti énervé avec le van en nous laissant là (le cheval, sa femme et moi) il est revenu au bout d'un moment, puis (le cheval refusant toujours de monter), il est reparti, encore plus énervé, en stop chez lui, nous laissant encore une fois totalement depourvus... Même si le lieu me semblait très bien, ce manque de professionnalisme me passe l'envie de leur confier mon cheval
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un cadre verdoyant et calme. Nous avons apprécié observer les chevaux évoluer sur pistes. Merci pour vos partages. Jennifer & Fabien

Parfait pour nous...calme au rdv...chant oiseau...chevaux a proximité...nous avons meme aperçu renard rapace et biche...chemin de randonnées pedestre vtt sympathique...a faire et a refaire
