Great staff, very helpful advices, always available and customer focused. Their equipment is awesome. Rented skis and bought backcountry skies and gears.
Rented board and boots, good service and gear in good condition. Very busy in the weekend mornings so I'd suggest picking up the evening before. Friends got boots fitted there, very well done.
Purchased glove inner liner 30 Euro no one said to beware of Velcro. Used once material pulled as all ski gear from gloves to jackets has Velcro. Would not return exchange or refund said happened to lots of others. In our country this practice is illegal, you need to at a minimum warm people.

After visiting a different, and apparently well regarded boot fitter at Nevada Sports in Le Lac at the start of my ski trip last week I was in a lot of pain two days after buying new boots. I chose not to go back to Nevada Sports but by luck found Sebastian at Mountain Story. He was truly excellent. He quickly identified the problem with the heel retainer I’d had fitted by Nevada Sports and sorted that, and then fitted me with a heel lift. Unfortunately I only found Sebastian on the last day of my ski trip but it was the most comfortable days I’d had in the slopes. Wish I’d gone to Mountain Story to start with! Thank you Sebastian :)
Being told afterwards that sharpening and waxing my snowboard was 5 extra is not what I consider good customers treament
THESE GUYS ARE GREAT I came back from a skiing holiday and ironically decided on the journey home I wanted a pair of K2's that I saw in this store. However, being last seasons skis, I couldn't find them anywhere. Becoming evermore concerned that I had just passed up my perfect skis, I phoned Mountain Story. The person who I spoke to was excellent, super helpful and checked the stock himself. The skis are now on delivery and I managed to save a further 30%. If this place was in England, I think I would go there and buy all of my stuff there each year. These guys literally saved my bacon; otherwise I would be compromising on a pair of 300 skis.... not ideal! Thank you so much!
The rental room was very hot. Best not to dress for the cold down there. But the staff were friendly and efficient.
