I don't know why this place has less than 2 stars. I had a very nice professional time there dealing with my immigration issues. The staff are very friendly and extremely professional. They speak English and I had no problems what so ever. I give 5 stars to this public office.

July 2018: I put 5 stars as it is very good prefecture. I have been in several ones around Paris, never had problems, but this one so far is the best. People are nice to me, if I have question there are people in the corridor who work for prefecture and can answer my question. You are sitting inside right away, instead of taking a line at 5 am! Also, when I ask question online, I get my reply very quickly. It nearly never happens in Paris! So, thanks to all administration there who tries to do their best for us. Update January 2020: Submitted dossier for the naturalization. Agent was the kindest person! Before rdv I asked several questions by pref.mail and eventually all the questions were answered. It is amazing prefecture with great competent people, I don't agree with so many bad notes!
Such a horrible phone service, as soon as you say Bonjour they hang up!!! Tried twice and hang up in the same way.
Applying for the carte de sejour was simple and straightforward. We were a bit confused about where to go for the meeting about our 'dossiers' but worked it out. Appointments were on time and efficient. We had a good experience.
It was THE WORST government service in Toulouse ! I really don't get it why people with RDV also need to do queue outside the buildings. Beside it, one of the staff in the locket for titre de séjour work so much slower than others locket. It so slow! For 15 number of queue it takes almost 2 hours, compare to others locket they are in the number of 51 and this locket still stuck in 18. It's the locket for take the titre de séjour that already finished so it was stupid that we need to waste 2 hours just for get it. I come at the time they open their service, anyway! I wish they can separate the service and can organize it better. Welcome desk is work so much better (who work for titre de séjour student). They are very well organized and work so fast. Im a bit dissapointed why we need to collect the TDS to this perfecture.
Not the place for person speaking o French, either you need contact to some private company who has deep contacts in Prefecture. Else wise it's one place for all services, having said that some employee works at tortoise speed.
Very bad service. Easy things make complicated
The customer service is really bad. Please learn from CPAM of CAF office that getting better and better in service for the people.
