An awesome open air museum. Plan to spend around 5 hours here, to cover all.

The place is like a walk through an ancient town. Beautiful houses and demonstration of ancient crafts.

This museum is definitely worth visiting a few times a year as the attractions are always different, each season it's nicely decorated. Plan to spend the whole day there! Very beautiful! Highly recommended! Note that almost all descriptions are in French there.

Fantastic museum full of fascinating things to see, do, experience, taste and try your hand at. Beautifully reconstructed typically Alsacian houses and buildings, laid out in a village with a blacksmith, potter, saddle maker, school, bakery, beehives etc. Lots of people in costumes teaching skills and demonstrating, plus tons of old fashioned kids games. We barely skimmed the surface so will definitely be coming back!

Quiet place great for relaxing and recharge the "battery".

A fantastic display of traditional Alsace buildings from all over the region. Good food in the winstub. One guide spoke great English and gave us the whole description in French & English. Only wish their was more English translations on the exhibits.

This was an enjoyable outing. Unfortunately, not all of the exhibit houses were open. I found the grounds not as well kept as other museums of this nature. I understand that it is a model to ecologically sound, however, I found that the authenticity was slightly lacking.

Open air museum with buildings from all over Alsace. You can imagine what life was like a 100 years ago. Children can take a tractor ride and see farm animals.
