A very beautiful and fun place to get in the winter to ski and in the summer to hike in the mountains

This is one of a kind place. If you love skiing you must visit Val Thorens. Almost every place is ski in and out. Great atmosphere all around. Many food options. And most of all perfect skiing.

Great winter ski resort. Not specially family oriented (children) though... In summer you can hike to the snow covered peaks.

This popular ski resort has great facilities and varied and interesting ski runs that suit all levels of skiers. The resort has a range of hotels but is really in the mid to high range price wise. There is a competitive market for ski hire. Just ask around. The main town has some learner slopes and a toboggan run. There is also a zip wire across the whole valley for people 10 or over.

Great skiing and so much opportunity to explore the hundreds of kilometers of pistes. Great food all around and the village is cool as well. One of my favorite ski areas!

Amazing town with beautiful view. Lots of restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is great and best of all- amazing ski!

Great skiing resort. If you go in March or April there still will be more than enough snow and weather is going to be amazing. ️

Very lucky with snow when we went and a good mix of blues, reds and blacks. Not the best place for beginners. Having said that, we had a member of the group who had never skied before and he managed it without issue. Would definitely recommend to others thinking of going to this area of France.
