We stayed at La Fontaine In June - fabulous accommodation. Well equipped and spacious. Peaceful location in the heart of the Normandy countryside but within easy reach of the coast and some wonderful sandy beaches,The garden and grounds are beautiful. The pool was lovely and warm - very clean. Overall an idyllic holiday home - perfect for visitors with dogs. Highly recommended.

This is a very peaceful place to stay in a particularly unspoilt rural area of France. Our gite was a converted barn positioned in a courtyard shared by other gites and the owners. There was a private outdoor eating space on the other side of the barn and views from the windows across open fields so you had the feeling of being private and away from the village. It is well-equipped and very clean and fresh painted. The owners are very welcoming and helpful - and there is plenty of information in the house on the surrounding area with its many beaches, walks and places of interest. We quickly felt at home. We would keenly recommend it to our friends as a good place to come at any time of year.

We had a short, but extremely enjoyable break at La Bourdonnerie, staying in La Lapiniere, which is spacious and tastefully decorated with excellent facilities. The shower was very efficient and our bed was very comfortable, with great views across the fields and the resident goats happily grazing! It's an idyllic, peaceful location, just a short walk to the tiny village of Vesly and fresh bread and croissants. Jenny and Dave were perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home. This is a great part of the country, with huge beaches not far away, excellent fish and seafood (and most other food) and of course, Calvados, which would be the perfect accompaniment to a warm evening sat in the private garden. We Have visited La Bourdonnerie on 3 separate occasions, last staying in le Pressoir gite I have to say it is a little piece of heaven in the French countryside, the properties themselves are spacious & luxurious, would highly recommend. The Johnsons

Wir waren zum zweiten mal mit Familie und unserer Cora in la Bourdonnerie. Trotz corona haben wir uns wohl und auch aehr sicher gefühlt, die Gastgeber haben alles sehr gut durchdacht und geplant. Da es wunderbar auf dem Land liegt, kann man hier in Ruhe entspannt Urlaub machen, das Meer ist schnell zu erreichen, die Beschreibung stimmt 100 Prozent, der neue tennisplatz ist to, nur zu kurz war es, weswegen wir gerade schauen ob wir im Herbst wieder kommen können, vielen Dank
