Disappointing experience with Vindilo. I ordered some of their truffle salt with black pepper as they were the only retailer i could find with the specific item in stock. I paid 10 in delivery to get the item shipped from France to the UK. on receipt it was only truffle salt, with no black pepper. I immediately contacted them to advise of their mistake and sent photos of the product received. they then sent a further product out, reassuring me that this time it was the correct product. Again on receipt it was only the truffle salt, no black pepper. they then confirmed that the supplier must have changed the composition and not informed them. as the product was not what I ordered I requested a refund, which they have refused unless i pay for postage at my cost, which it's not my responsibility to do as it's not my error. They are now ignoring all emails sent. All companies make mistakes and I understand that these things happen, but i'm disappointed that even after admitting their mistake, Vindilo refused a refund and are now ignoring contact. UPDATE: in response to their comment below. i have received no further communication from their customer services team, so this issue remains unresolved. my purchase was from Vindilio, not their manufacturer, so i can't see why contacting the manufacturer should stall the refund that i am due.
