The first thing I have to say is that I booked a food tour because I was bored on a Sunday. I had not planned my itinerary for the day where most shops would be closed. This tour company was the only one that accepted my last-minute reservation (other companies required at least a day of booking in advance, as long as the group is not full). The tour lasted from 11.20am till 2.20pm. We made several stops to listen about the background of places such as the Latin Quarter, Rue Mouffetard, Heminway's home, etc. I did the tour in Winter, which was quite chilly because of the strong winds. But that didn't stop the tour. The guide (Fabian I think his name was) had a backup plan in case it was raining during the entire tour (kudos). We started off tasting some bread, then went to Rue Mouffetard to get some meats, cheese, and wine. We stopped at the wine place to enjoy some of the foods. For me the highlight was the cheese because the guide picked several of his favorites. If you're not a cheese person, keep your mind opened. Towards the end of the tour we ate sweeter things like the butter & sugar crepe, and a choux a la creme. I have a small stomach, so by the time I finished the crepe, I was too full. Some other things: There's not a lot of walking, and the pace is very easy. Do bring a bottle of water to hydrate yourself, and some extra napkins/wet wipes if you like to get messy with your food. The guide was friendly and you can ask him/her any other general information about food/Paris.

Awesome Walking Food Tour of Paris! My wife and I took the Marais Food Tour with Richard. It was the highlight of our trip to Paris. We tasted delicious cheeses, meats, and fresh fruits from a street market. He discussed the history and culture of the neighborhood and how it related to the foods we were tasting. What a fascinating and delicious neighborhood. Thank you for an amazing day Richard!
