I have visited three ouvrages of the Maginot Line so far, and this one is my favorite! It is not a famous touristic destination like ouvrage Hakenberg, and visiting it gives a feeling of pioneering exploration. The fort is preserved in original condition, without extensive restauration. Excellent for people who like dark, abandoned places! Not like a museum, but like a real abandoned fort. The guide Remi is young, yet he is a great expert. He is able to answer any questions, demonstrates the work of all the equipment as if he served in the ouvrage during the war! Recommended both for people that visit the Maginot Line for the first time and also for the people having some background in fortification

Visite très intéressante, avec une équipe très sympathique, qui nous a permis d’apprendre énormément de choses sur la ligne Maginot, mais aussi sur les liens qu’entretenait le fort du Michelsberg avec le Hackenberg. Prévoyez des vêtements chauds car même en été, il fait très frais.

Excellente visite avec des explications détaillées et démonstration de mise en place de la tourelle !! L'endroit est bien conservé et un gros travail de restauration a été fait surtout sur les moteurs, la tourelle, et sur l'entretien général de l'ouvrage. Super visite, merci :)

Sehr freundliche Vereinsmitglieder zeigen und Erklären hier geschichtliches. Zusehen dass Fort Michelsberg. Hier kümmert man sich in vielen Stunden Arbeit um den Erhalt der Anlage. Fototechnisch gesehen sehr schön.
