This is an amazing church in Paris so beautiful and typical French style in that period!! Beautiful sculptures and unique paintings inside! Beautiful and picturesque the fountain outside️

I take part in christian orthodox masses held in the crypt (basement). Old fashioned but powerful prayers are a great way to connect with God almighty.

A beautiful small cathedral, well all of these churches are beautiful. Next door is an AMAZING book fair - old books mostly, but also artwork. The books vary from regular awesome to mint condition protected in glass... But back to the church which has various saints, and Christ as well. The open area in the middle seems like this is more of a church actually utilized by locals, which is great. Definitely worth a quick stop in, with no lines or troubles the large touristy spots can do.

Stunning in its peace, structure, design and art. You cannot help but feel a oneness with all that is and has been. A good place to deposit a prayer of hope - and return to time and again. Also, it has a sense of privacy, nestled into a beautiful neighborhood.

Because of the strikes going on we had to get around by foot for the most part. Even though this left us exhausted by the end of the day with throbbing feet we think it was one of the best parts of the trip. Most days we spent walking 10 miles or more but we got to see so much. It’s easy to walk that much without realizing since many landmarks are only about a mile or so from one another and walking along the Seine River can make it seem even shorter since you can often see everything in the distance. After a few days of walking around we felt much more comfortable going places and got to know more of the city than we would have if the trains were all running. With all the research we did leading up to the trip we had an idea of what exactly we wanted to see but there’s so much more that we didn’t know about. From exploring on foot we found several streets with unique shops and areas that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. And during the Christmas season many of these streets are full of lights and decorations which was always a pleasant surprise to turn a corner and find a decorated street that we hadn’t seen before. Remember to go off course when you travel and explore the city and not just the landmarks! Otherwise we would have never came across this church in particular and the beautiful streets that surround it. - @wanderingwithustwo
