Just home after two glorious weeks here. Great base. Plenty of places to visit. Accommodation is superb. Jen and Alan are perfect hosts. Enjoyed the fishing and wildlife in garden. Recommended.

We spent 2 lovely weeks in September at this very spacious, spotless gite. Alan and Jenny were extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. Nick managed to catch 20 carp between 7-12lbs. Loads to do in the area and Bordeaux definitely worth a visit. Must go to eat at Remys (ask Jenny to book). Would highly recommend

We've just come back from a lovely stay at "Gone Fishin", a very warm welcome awaits you by Jen and Alan, the owners of the gîte... All we wanted was a quiet holiday fishing, and that's exactly what we had, most enjoyable! We certainly would like to go back there one day.....

Had another fabulous holiday at Gone Fishin' this last week (30/07/16) our hosts were brilliant - I especially liked the nuggets of info about local events so we didn't miss out. For instance the ever popular night market at Laperade with great food, atmosphere and views. The fishing was great, catching 6 decent sized common carp from 4lb to 11lb on a boilie/sweet corn hair rig. The location is just lovely - so clean, well appointed & relaxing. Great value for money. Will be returning for sure. Top tip, invest in a "toll tag" if you intend to use the autoroutes, saves so much hassle enroute there.
