Second time booking through le boat, had a nice welcome from the owners of the boat yard. The boat we received was not in an amazing condition, there was a few broken things and it was quite grubby in places. The holiday itself was amazing, we had a wonderful time cruising around the waterways. Upon returning the boat we asked about local restaurants and were told that the best places were in adjacent towns, since our car was locked away we had to get a taxi to the next town over. Overall a nice experience with a warm welcome. We did have higher expectations for the price paid though.

Terrible experience renting a boat from here booked through ho seasons!! Left stranded overnight on a broken down boat no power or aircon, no steering or bow thrust....excrement coming up over the toilette due to being left with no power leaving us no alternative but to abandon boat as Colin turned his phone off leaving us with no other emergency contact... this happened 3 days into our 7 day holiday both le boat and ho seasons passing blame and refusing refund...very tired and rundown boat for the amount charged ,not as described in advert , curtains hanging off flooring all lifted, leaking sink in kitchen. Will not be using either company again.
A sometimes crowded berthing spot, that's a voyage depot for Le Boat. Power & water available. Unsure of cost as we were Le Boat customers. No restaurant open at night in Branges, so nearest dinner is a 3.5.km taxi ride to Louhans. If I'd had the choice, I would have preferred to end our Le Boat trip in Louhans. A much better place with considerably better amenities. Branges is an anticlimax to a number of other towns visited on our trip down the Saone and up the Seille rivers. Although the supermarket owner in Branges is a 'happy chappy' with a welcoming kind word for all.
A very Professional place to rent a boat if you want to cruise on the bountifully French canals!
