Not many visitors and you can appreciate the exhibits at ease. Rich variety of exhibits of different categories. The audio visual guide is well developed and very helpful to non French speaking guest like me.

Wonderful and 4th floor museum located in an old middle aged building : amazing ! It covers all period with first glass art of humanity, to Iron Age , impressionists , painters and sculptures, to modern art ( a rabbit with embroyed ears) A place to visit , need 3 to 4 hours to visit

Splendid museum with so much to see. 28 rooms filled with art from the Roman times all the way to our times! And right now, the temporary exhibition of Goya's art is superb to see!

Four stars for trying to be a grown-up museum. There isn't much to do in Agen and that is one of them. They have a few Goyas in their collection which is their calling card - but these are not outstanding examples of the Master's works. The rest of the museum has kind of \left over\ art works from all over - presented in a so-so fashion. Still worth a visit however. The building itself extends over a few old castles with passages and staircases that in themselves are interesting.
