Great food, fabulous tea, lovely location. I am a bit puzzled by a review which claims that T'cha is run by an old lady and her daughter - the place I know is run by two women of similar age and they have always been delightfully friendly with me.

This small family-run restaurant outdoes all the RUDEST french restaurants in town. It is a quaintly-decorated place run by an old chinese lady and her daughter. We went with a 3 year old and a 2 year old. 1. attitude towards children The problems started when the 2 year old cried. Immediately the old lady came and said, in a very rude way, that we should keep our children under control, and pointed to a 7 year old french girl sitting quietly on the other table as an example. We pointed out that it is relatively normal that a 2 year old should cry every now and then. We eventually agreed to move to a different table with more space around us and further away from other clients. Then we ordered tea. to refill the cups with hot water the old lady brought a hot water bottle, which we requested be kept somewhere else other than on our dining table as it is a recipe for disaster to associate young children with hot water. She said 'I don't have any space to put it elsewhere' when clearly she did. We placed the hot water bottle on the floor, when she promptly said 'you'd better not break it'. 2. attitude towards customers The old lady insisted on speaking to us in french, even though we obviously all spoke chinese and indicated a preference to do so.......and her french was decrepit as well. a new couple walked in through the door and asked for a table. They were greeted with a flat and arrogant-sounding 'we're full'. There are better ways of saying the same thing to your prospective customer. 3. the food it's ok, considering all the trash that is served in other chinese restaurants around paris, but neither worth the price nor the rudeness encountered at this place. All in all, avoid this place like the plague.

Un très bon restaurant asiatique, une ambiance atypique et une cuisine traditionnelle. Un endroit idéal pour boire des thés haut de gamme. Contrairement aux précédents avis, je trouve que la gérante est "particulière" mais vraiment pas désagréable. J'avais presque peur avant d'y aller tellement les avis étaient horribles, une vidéo sur youtube avait même été diffusée... si vous la respectez elle ne vous mordra pas !
Magnifique petit restaurant, je conseille le tofu à l'encre et bien sûr beaucoup de thés merveilleux: Bodhisatva de fer, le thé jaune, Puits du Dragon, etc. La propriétaire est un peu timide mais au but d'un moment et si l'on reste gentils elle peut être très sympa ! Un vrai moment de paix à Paris.
Le lieu est beau avec toute une simplicite. Le the et la cusine sont magnifiques.
Coupé du monde, on s'échappe soudainement de Paris avec des parfums venu de Hong Kong et de Taïwan. L'ambiance est calme et respectueux, ici on laisse tomber son armure et respire à nouveau. Les plats sont uniques, le thé est diversifié et les cookies au gingembre delicieux.
Déplorable, je viens pour me renseigner sur l'achat d'accessoires pour le Gong Fu Cha, vendeuse pas souriante, limite regard agressif, je demande ce qu'ils ont en service à thé, elle marmonne quelque chose d'incompréhensible, parle à peine français, je ne comprends rien, je lui demande donc en désignant un gaïwan "ça c'est à vendre ?" elle me répond "vous choisissez, après on verra" Sérieusement ? Aucun effort pour répondre à mes questions, fuit la vente, l'impression d'être mis à la porte ! Je la remercie et m'en vais, plus jamais je mets les pieds ici. Je suis un grand amateur de thé, et commerçant dans le quartier. Personnel pas qualifié, et parle pas français... A éviter.
