Nice place to visit. The roof tiles of many houses are very beautiful

Palace turned into a museum. There were a lot of amazing pieces of artwork and artifacts. The tombs were especially beguiling in their intricacies and detailing. I am continually awed by the workmanship and craftsmanship. I can barely write cursive anymore and couldn’t imagine wielding a carving tool to chisel out lace and filigree. I will stick to tapping on a keyboard and come back here to see the mastery of yesterday’s.

So fun to run around with a toddler! Our toddler loved playing with the water jets in front of the palace. I loved how kid-friendly it was! And the place is obviously gorgeous.

This is a well presented and preserved palace in Dijon. Architecturally, it is grand with a mixture of French Baroque and gothic style. Most of the palace is visible in amongst the other buildings in this city especially the tower of Philippe le Bon and Tour de Bar. It's free for the public to explore except there's a cost to climb the tower of Philippe the Good. Both the Hôtel de Ville and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon are housed in this palace so you have a great experience exploring this momentous palace.
