Good price. The rooms are pretty wack tho with a lot of damaged things in there. The location is great and you meet a lot of nice people. But we got free vodka.

Very lovely staff, very accommodating and such a warm welcome when I arrived late. Great location to everything. Felt very safe. Dan the owner is lovely and can speak good English. Ended up staying a couple more nights than anticipated.

Does it's job but a few things could be improved. only one plug socket in the room meaning you can either have the telly on OR charge a single device (in a double room I'd like to have at least a plug socket each) lights above the bed which can only be on when the main room light is on meaning you are either in complete darkness or bright light which I do not like in the evenings. A single mirror in the bathroom which isn't too much of a problem until one of you needs to shower while the other wants to get ready for the day.

I've stayed in a fair number of hostels and consider myself to be pretty flexible when it comes to hostel stays, just for reference. The bunks were fine, no complaints. The bathroom situation was 6 bed to 1 bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) which is unideal but for 6 bed it worked. The bathroom was somewhere between okay and dirty and the toilet seat was not attached and then one day disappeared entirely. I rely on cooking when I travel but the kitchen was barely useable. There was no labelling system in the fridge and the result was two fridges packed full and smelly. There were flies, there were not enough dishes and they weren't organized. It was not a kitchen that received any recognizable cleaning or maintenance on a regular basis. There was a curfew and you couldn't get in between 3am and 6am. The people/crowd here however were awesome. The weird hotel-turned-hostel atmosphere had a way of bringing everybody together. We met tons of people and had a blast all 3 nights we were there with the people we met, which really redeemed the stay for us.

Likes -The receptionist staff were nice at check in (gave me a croissant and OJ) and Dan was approachable and understood and speaks English. . -I got a free upgrade (but wasn't really an upgrade, see below). -Good shower water pressure. -Comfortable mattress. -I like having the bathroom in the room. -Air-conditioner (see below). -There is a lift. -Provided towel and sheets Dislikes -Bad wifi in rooms and common areas, lots of drop outs and really slow. -There is no age limit even though it's advertised as \u003c40yrs, i had a 65yr old lady in my room that was absolutely crazy, controlling and verbally & physically abusive. I asked to be changed to another room and they didn't have anywhere to move me or her to. There wasn't any other available accommodation in nice at such short notice for me to change to. -Couldn't use the air-conditioner because of the crazy 65yr old lady () -Room was so hot. -Only 2 lockable draws in a 3 bed room, despite advertised otherwise. -Not great for meeting people. -Small kitchen. Fridge stank. -Toilet doesn't flush with the button. Have to manually pull the lever under the hood on the back of the toilet. -The shower filled up with water to your ankles. Drained terribly. -No power outlets near the bunk beds. Despite what it says online there star rating at the place says it only 2/5.

Staff were lovely. *Only 2 power points in 6 person room. *Bathroom was large, but the shower head was broken. *The kitchen had many flies buzzing around the food and sink area and didn't smell great. And no hot water from the kitchen sink.

Curfew time from 3 to 6 am, completely buzz killer. You cannot even stay in the common area chilling during that time. So you either go to bed at 3 or you have to spend the whole night out, which is also a problem because all the places close fairly early. The shower in our room didn't have a stand so you needed to hold it with one hand and try to shower with the other while smelling and seeing the mold on the broken ceiling of it. Sadly and barely decorated. The only bright side of it is that there was AC in the room and the staff was friendly.
