This was a great tour and tasting. Rose was our guide and she was wonderful. We are used to California wineries, so it was amazing to see the many wonderful wines that France and especially the Bourdeau region has to offer. We'll definitely try to come back!

Beautiful grounds & wonderful wines! Stopped here on our e-bike tour (arranged by Rustic Vine Tours. Also a 5-star experience!) and toured the vines, chateau grounds, & cellars with Julien. Then we had 4-5 tastings of their delicious wines. He was so knowledgable, casual, engaging & great to conversate with. Thanks, Julien, for the best chateau experience we had in Saint-Emilion. We'll be back!

Perfect tour to the vineyards and cellar by one of the directors. He have us deep insight in wine making in the area of St. Emilion. Very well tasting wine.

This chateau is recommended by St Emilion’s official site. My wife and I rode a bike to the chateau from St. Emilion. The chateau is a “proper castle” and retains lots of its old characters, but we were more impressed with the tour itself. Our tour guide (a lovely French girl, unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was very knowledgable and passionate about the chateau and the vineyards, she not only told us about the history of the chateau, the appellations, techniques about growing grapes and managing vineyards, wine-making and etc., but apparently she really enjoyed what she’s doing. For this reason our tour was for most part a very relaxed conversation with lots of interactivity. After the tour we tasted three wines - all are very good but we prefer one of them due to its smoothness and complexity of taste. For the occasional wine drinkers with us, telling the differences of good wine is always a challenge, but she’s very patient by explaining to us that it’s not only a matter of subjectivity but also requires lots of practice. The tour was supposed to last for one and half hours, but it actually took us two hours. We really enjoyed our tour and would be happy to visit again in the future. Highly recommended.
