For the second year I tried to visit without success. The miraculous virgin medal can be purchased nearby and at Sacre Cour anyway.

It was quite hard to recognize its entrance but we finally found it. The sisters there are really nice and the church is just marvelous. All in blue in adoration to Saint Mary. You can read the story of the miraculous appearances of 1830.

My favorite place to visit. Not for tourists but super meaningful for devotees of Mother Mary. You will be able to see St Catherine's body in perfect condition after all these years. Small shop sells medallions which you can give as presents. Worth the extra visit

It has rich history, part of the building was donated by Napoleon during the time he needed his injured troops to be nursed and the Daughters of Charity who were nurses by professional rendered the services.
